Local lore speaks of a tunnel beneath the alley, a legend started by a former resident named Hugsy Goode. Nobody believed Hugsy back then, but Copin and Tornid are determined to find out for themselves. As they dig and explore, the boys face challenges and get into mischief, but their persistence pays off. They discover a real tunnel, leading them on exciting adventures they never imagined.
