Product Description

4 page brochure for the 1979 air/sea cruises to the Fjords, the North Cape, and the Baltic Capitals aboard the Greek registered Ulysses Line ship ss Calypso.

The brochure includes a drawing and photo of the ship's exterior, partial deck plans on the front cover showing the location of staterooms on decks A/B/C/D/E, a brief description of the cruise on air/sea package on page 2, sailing schedules and room rates on page 3, and general information on the back cover (see photos, all 4 pages are shown).

The brochure is in excellent condition.

The 20,000 ton ss Ulysses entered service in 1955 as the Southern Cross for Shaw Savill .  The ship was sold to Ulysses line in 1973 and renamed Calypso. In 1980 the ship was sold to Western Cruise Lines (owned by Eastern Cruise Lines which later became Admiral Cruises after a merger) and renamed the Azure Seas.  In 1991 it was sold again to Dolphin Cruise Line (which later became Premier Cruise Line after a merger) and renamed the OceanBreeze.  The ship sailed until 2003 when it was scrapped.
