The magazine's front cover has a 1-inch tear at the top left and wear on the top right corner. The spine has a 2-inch section with some damage. The last 3 pages have a very light 2 inch section with some spots. The rest of the interior pages are in very good condition (see photos).
Articles in this issue include "Music Under the Stars" summer music festivals, "Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand", "Poolside Perspectives" photo salute to swimming pools, "Enchantment on a Summer Evening" article on fireflies, and "Summer Cover-ups" buyer's guide to sunglasses and suntan lotions. Regular departments and reviews include food, airwaves, and video. The magazine also has many vintage 1980's ads.
The magazine also has a US Air route map, USAir passenger information, a guide to the USAir inflight entertainment program, and an article by USAir Chairman and President Edwin I. Colodny.
USAir was formed in 1937 as All American Aviation and changed its name to Allegheny Airlines in 1953. In 1979 it rebranded as USAir. In the 1980's it acquired Piedmont Airlines and Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA), and in 1997 it changed its name to US Airways. It was acquired by American in 2015.
