Postcard from circa 1910 showing the ship Vermont which was the first steamboat on Lake Champlain when it entered service in 1809 (and the second steamboat in the world). The 120 foot long boat was owned and built by the brothers John and James Winans.
The card is unused and in very good condition with some light wear on the bottom corner tip edges (see photos).
