Antique postcard from the 1900's (circa 1908) showing people riding the Virginia Reel wooden spinning roller coaster in the Luna Park amusement park in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York.
The roller coaster was built in 1908 by Elmer Riehl, the operator of Luna Park. It was named after his daughter Virginia. It was originally located at Bowery and West 12th (but was later moved to another location) and operated until the early 1960's.
The unused card is in very good condition with minor wear on the corners (see photos).
