Vintage 1940's linen postcard showing the Wal-A-Pai Court motel on Route 66 in downtown Kingman, Arizona. The motel was a popular stop for travelers on Route 66 during the 1940's and '50's.
From the back: "Kingman's Downtown Court. Walking distance to shopping district and 1/2 block to good restaurants. 40 all modern units, carpeted, individual electric heat and cooling, ice and icewater always available".
The card is a "Genuine Curteich-Chicago" C.T. Art-Colortone postcard, and it was printed in the USA.
