Antique undivided back black and white postcard circa. 1900-1906 showing a photo of the Elm Street Iron Bridge over the Westfield River in Westfield Massachusetts and children standing on a rock by the bridge and the waterfalls by the Westfield Dam.
The metal pin-connected truss bridge shown in the photo was built in 1880. It was damaged and destroyed by a hurricane and flood waters in 1938 and replaced with a new bridge.
The card was published by N.E. Paper and Stationary Co. Manufacturers, Ayer Massachusetts.
Condition: the postcard is unused. It has creases on two corners and it has a noticeable warp. The unused back has marks from where it was secured in a photo album (see photos).
