Vintage 10-strike matchbook cover (no matches) from the 1950's advertising Wolf's Pastry Shop which was located at 31 Baltimore St. in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
The pastry shop was owned by James Wolf. His brother Glen Wold owned the popular Glenn's Diner in Gettysburg.
The front cover of the matchbook has the Wolf's Pastry shop name and log and the old style 3-digit phone number "114". The strike side has the address and says "Makers and bakers of good things to eat". The inside of the matchbook has an image of a cake which says: "Decorative Cakes A Specialty".
The matchbook cover is in very good condition. It is empty and there are no matches, and the strike pad appears to be unused. (see photos).
